About Aimee Griffin

UKCP & BACP registered integrative psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, adults, parents and couples in Surrey and online.

HOW I WORK

My Philosophy

Meaningful therapy grows from a relationship in which you can feel safe enough to be curious about your experience. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help you understand patterns, emotions and relationships with greater clarity.

I work collaboratively and at a pace that respects the complexity of your life. Therapy may involve making sense of early experiences, understanding what happens in the nervous system under stress, exploring relationships or developing practical ways of responding differently in the present

Space to Pause and Reflect

“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
— Viktor Frankl
Therapy can provide the space to pause, reflect, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.

THERAPEUTIC SPACE

Space to Pause and Reflect

“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”

Viktor Frankl

Therapy can provide a place to slow down, notice what keeps repeating and discover different ways of relating to yourself and to other people.

INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY

My Therapeutic Approach

Integrative psychotherapy allows me to draw from different therapeutic models rather than fitting every client into one method. Depending on who I am working with, sessions may include talking therapy, attachment- and trauma-informed exploration, practical strategies, creative work or play-based approaches.

The focus is always on understanding the person in context: their relationships, development, strengths, difficulties and the circumstances they are living in now.
