ABOUT THE WORK

Why Aimee Griffin

I am Aimee Griffin, a UKCP-registered integrative psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and couples. I offer a warm, thoughtful, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, and life transitions can be explored safely and at your own pace.

My approach is client-centred and holistic, recognising the close connection between emotional and physical wellbeing. I work collaboratively to create a contained and supportive environment in which each person feels heard, understood, and able to reflect more deeply on their inner and relational world.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or a loved one, I am committed to helping you build resilience and strengthen emotional wellbeing.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

An Integrative, Individualised Way of Working

An integrative approach drawing from evidence-based and relational models. Sessions may include talking therapy, creative or play-based work, practical strategies, and attachment- or trauma-informed exploration, adapted to the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

Neurodiversity-affirming support for adults, children, teenagers and parents around emotional regulation, overwhelm, self-esteem and everyday functioning.

Age-appropriate psychotherapy using talking, play and creative approaches for anxiety, school difficulties, emotional regulation, confidence and relationships.

Aimee has been amazing. She's warm, caring and really takes the time to listen. She's helped my ADHD child feel heard and understood and helped him make sense of his feelings in the most natural of ways. She has made a real positive impact and we're very grateful to have found her. Thank you Aimee

I was struggling with focus, emotional regulation, and daily organization. She provided me with very clear and supportive therapy for ADHD-related challenges. Her ability to listen carefully and respond is in a very calm and structured way. The sessions helped me build awareness around my behavior patterns. The support has been consistent and professional throughout.
